Historic Victory in Kalamaria for Giannis Dardamanelis and
Generation of Creation

Giannis Dardamanelis and the "Generation of Creation" managed to succeed
yesterday, in the second round of municipal elections, a historic Victory and overthrow
in the Municipality of Kalamaria. This is a surprise win given that
Kalamaria was ruled by the same state faction for about forty years
years. But it is also a great success and upset, as
covered the significant difference of about twelve percentage points that
separated the two factions in the first round, despite the high abstention rate 60% who appeared in the second round.

The final results that demonstrate a triumphant Victory of John
Dardamanelis against Theodosius Bakoglidis (rate 58% against 42%),
are interpreted as a decision of the citizens of Kalamaria to change the page afterwards
from about four decades. At the same time, they express their confidence
citizens of Kalamaria in the face of a young man with an obvious mood
for work and militant claim, as well as in the dynamics of his formation
"Generation of Creation". An independent faction that embraced them all
citizens, regardless of political preference and ideology, without at the same time to
accept partisan anointing.
After the completion of the results, Giannis Dardamanelis proceeded to
following statement:

«We achieved a historic victory! A Victory from those that do not happen often!
A fresh and dynamic team managed to make a big upset against
a faction that ruled over 40 about years.
Thank you to all our liaisons who trusted the Generation of Creation.
Thanks to my team, associates and municipal candidates
advisers who worked very hard for this historic victory!
I thank my family for their unique support!
Kalamaria turned the page! She dared to take this step and she will not
disappoint.
We will work together for the restart, the development, in its new era

The candidate for Mayor of Kalamaria, Giannis Dardamanelis, and his party "Generation of Creation" held this morning in the central pedestrian street of Kalamaria the inauguration of the polling station of the party. The traditional holy communion was performed, in the presence of all candidate councilors, of the faction executives and many supporters and friends.
During the inauguration, Giannis Dardamanelis made the following statement:    
"The polling station of our party officially starts operating today, the electoral center of creation and victory! The presence of all of you here today marks our path to victory and the restart of Kalamaria! Together we will manage to put an end to the status quo and to regenerate our Kalamaria ... ".

The proposals of the Generation of Creation for modern administration and utilization of European programs
There are efficient and feasible solutions for a Modern Municipal Administration! The key to success in this is the optimal utilization of human resources and technology as well as the efficient absorption of European funds.. This is the main conclusion that emerges from the relevant event held by the candidate for Mayor of Kalamaria, Giannis Dardamanelis, and his "Generation of Creation" faction..
The event took place yesterday at the crowded Municipal Theater of Kalamaria "Melina Mercouri". The speaker was also Dr. George Banias, Researcher C 'of CERTH, with significant experience in European Programs.
The specific axes of the program, as presented enriched with examples to be implemented, refer to the following:
• Need to maximize the technocratic perception in the modern way of self-government. EGovernment. Implementation of extensive changes in the structures of the services of the Municipality and utilization of all the abilities and skills of the human resources. Development of the cooperation and the functionality between the Departments and the Directorates of the Municipality with parallel improvement of the communication between them. Continuous education and training of the employees of the Municipality. Communication with the citizens as a foundation of democratic governance.
• Bridging the academic and research potential of the wider area with the local government. Synergies with other Municipalities, with the Regions as well as with the scientific bodies of the city and joint participation in European programs. Re-establishment of the municipal police.
• Utilization, participation, claiming and absorbing European funds. Participation of the Municipality in innovative actions and claiming European programs to support start-ups and youth entrepreneurship.
At the end of his speech, the leader of the faction and candidate for Mayor of Kalamaria, Giannis Dardamanelis, stressed that “The Generation of Creation in Kalamaria, brings meritocracy, transparency, the development. We think extrovertedly and always aiming at the immediate and effective solution of the citizen's problems. We plan collaborations with other Municipalities, universities and research institutes, even with municipalities of other states for exchange of ideas and know-how. With your support we will achieve the creative restart of our Kalamaria!»

The main axes of the program and practical applications for Aretsou and Nea Krini.

Giannis Dardamanelis, candidate for Mayor of Kalamaria with the "Generation of Creation", yesterday presented part of the main programmatic positions of the faction for Kalamaria. Enriched with practical examples for the areas of Aretsou and Nea Krini, it proposed realistic and feasible solutions for a modern Municipality. The presentation was held at “Rembi”, an emblematic place in Nea Krini, symbolizing with this choice of space the necessity of revitalizing the businesses of the coastal zone.

The first central axes of the faction's program refer to the following:

•Urban development through the claiming of spaces by public bodies, to be utilized by the Municipality. The tip of the spear is the regeneration of the beach front as a tourist attraction, sports and commercial activities.

• Strengthening entrepreneurship with incentives for new businesses, creation of electronic service infrastructure for the professional and development of regional local markets of Kalamaria.

• Utilization of European funds and synergies with scientific bodies of the city.

At the end of the event, the leader of the faction and candidate for Mayor of Kalamaria, Giannis Dardamanelis, including,he stated:

"The restart of Kalamaria will take shape with the implementation of our program immediately from the day after taking over the administration of the Municipality.
