What is Fasting?;
OUR CROSS IS WOODEN
Nikolaos Nimas
(to Eleusinian compatriots – emergency)
Our own Cross was sanctified by the ultimate dishonor.
The one who said it was hanged on him
“I am humble in heart”
The one he condemned was hanged on him
every kind of pride and arrogance
– individual, tribal, national or class.
Our Cross is not blue and white.
It is the color of bloody wood – does not whiten.
Our Cross does not symbolize ideas
it is not yet another religious symbol.
Our Cross defines no borders,
he does not cast out unbelievers, invites and shows,
it is a compass of martyrdom and testimony of the living God.
Our Cross showed the only way
for the Resurrection of souls and bodies.

evil times and great provocations are coming*
- Nikolaos Nimas The thing is, now EVERYONE knows. And the emphasis on everyone concerns all prospective Mayors and Municipal Councilors.
I am interested in what those who are Christians will do with them and I saw them during Holy Week coming to the churches. I expect to see them put up reverently declaring that that cross over there is not the cross of Christ.
Everything in the shape of a cross is not a Christian Cross. - wicked times and unlikely tribulations
Let's have a quick mind, Sophroton calculus, they were heartbroken

GOOD & BLESSED MONTH....
Axileas Arslanoglou
My friends, let us open our hearts to accept love for our fellow man, peace for the whole world and hope for a better tomorrow....
By the time of the Roman Emperor Julius Caesar it included 29 days since then 30. Nero it 65 A.D. try, without success, to rename April to Neronio (Nero) commemorating his rescue after a failed assassination attempt involving his teacher Seneca.
The custom of "April Fool's Day", with the innocent lies, it is a pan-European custom and it came to Greece, rather, the time of the Crusades. It has its roots in the ancient Celts, who used to go fishing on April Fool's Day and resort to false stories of big fish when they came back empty-handed.
The word April (Latin Aprillis) etymologically derived from the Latin verb aperire, which means "open". It is the month when the weather "opens up" and Spring comes.
April is the month par excellence where Easter is celebrated. In the first three centuries of Christianity, the various churches celebrated this great feast on different dates. Due to these differences the First Ecumenical Synod, which Constantine the Great convened at Nicaea in Bithynia the 325 A.D., decreed that “Easter should be celebrated on the Sunday after the first full moon of spring, and if the full moon occurs on a Sunday then it should be celebrated on the following Sunday (the celebration of Easter was therefore directly linked to the vernal equinox and the first full moon of spring).

Axileas Arslanoglou: December Month, Happy Birthday.
The name December came from the Latin decem meaning ten, since December was the 10th month according to the Roman calendar (time for the Romans began in March).
December is the month with the fewest daylight hours in the northhemisphere and most daylight hours in the southern hemisphere and always begins on the same day of the week as September.
In ancient Athens December was equivalent to the second fortnight of the month of Maimacterion and the first fortnight of the month of Poseidon, which was dedicated to the god Poseidon.
The Romans had two important festivals in December : the "Saturnalia" (celebration of joy and relaxation where apart from the established sacrifices, the exchange of gifts and games of chance were dominant) and Vrumalia (winter solstice celebration that honored the light deity Helios). Pigs were sacrificed on both festivals, which they then consumed
In our people's calendar, December is considered particularly "festive" because of its many religious holidays, but above all it is inextricably linked with the celebration of Christmas on 25 of the month.
