OUR CROSS IS WOODEN

Our own Cross was sanctified by the ultimate dishonor.
The one who said it was hanged on him
“I am humble in heart”
The one he condemned was hanged on him
every kind of pride and arrogance
– individual, tribal, national or class.
Our Cross is not blue and white.
It is the color of bloody wood – does not whiten.
Our Cross does not symbolize ideas
it is not yet another religious symbol.
Our Cross defines no borders,
he does not cast out unbelievers, invites and shows,
it is a compass of martyrdom and testimony of the living God.
Our Cross showed the only way
for the Resurrection of souls and bodies.

  • Nikolaos Nimas The thing is, now EVERYONE knows. And the emphasis on everyone concerns all prospective Mayors and Municipal Councilors.
    I am interested in what those who are Christians will do with them and I saw them during Holy Week coming to the churches. I expect to see them put up reverently declaring that that cross over there is not the cross of Christ.
    Everything in the shape of a cross is not a Christian Cross.

Al. Tsipras: On Sunday we decide to live with dignity in Europe

Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras pointed out that democracy is celebrated today, speaking at the "no" rally in Syntagma Square. As he mentioned, "democracy is redemption and a way out and everything,whatever dawns on monday, we are all winners".

"No one can ignore this passion, this anxiety for life, for hope, for optimism. Today we celebrate the courage and determination to take fate into our own hands. Today we celebrate and sing to overcome fear," he said.

He expressed the opinion that "Europe has nothing to do with blackmail and ultimatums. All of Europe has its eyes on the Greek people. Today the whole planet has its eyes on Syntagma Square. In the place where democracy was born, we are giving democracy a chance to return.

My dear friends.

Maybe it's not easy to believe me. The referendum does not leave me indifferent, nor am I afraid of anything, i have god.

But I'm torn.

The Prime Minister, at first he left me free to decide.
Then he told me that it is allowed, just one opinion.
He told me today, that both opinions are acceptable.

I am bothered by the passion of FB Friends, for NO and for
of YES. Some blog pages, who let us rest since January, they planted more severe ones.

Things are simple, but forgive me, due to age, I lived in his decade 1950 the queues at the sissitsi and it's a childhood trauma for me.

Although I am retired, i work for free, until our children work.

I wish the best for the Government and the Greek People. But I fear the hatred of the assembly, more than hatred of foreigners.

You don't have to believe me, but
they destroy, and the devotees of NO,
but also the devotees of YES.
