Κατά την ένατη συνεχή χρονιά διοργάνωσής του το Φεστιβάλ ΛΕΑ εξακολουθεί να αποτελεί το κορυφαίο πολιτιστικό γεγονός για τη διάδοση στην Ελλάδα της γραμματείας της Λατινικής Αμερικής, της Ισπανίας και της Πορτογαλίας, μια πολιτιστική συνάντηση γύρω από τη λογοτεχνία αλλά και μια ιδανική ευκαιρία για την εξάπλωση της συνήθειας της ανάγνωσης .

From the 7 until 19 Ιουνίου στην Αθήνα και από τις 16 until 19 Ιουνίου στη Λευκάδα , το κοινό θα έχει τη δυνατότητα να απολαύσει, including, εκθέσεις ζωγραφικής και φωτογραφίας, storytelling, εργαστήρια λογοτεχνικής μετάφρασης αλλά και λογοτεχνικά, theatrically, μουσικά και γαστρονομικά εργαστήρια, μουσικές και ποιητικές βραδιές, αφιερώματα σε συγγραφείς, παρουσιάσεις βιβλίων, speeches, συνεντεύξεις και στρογγυλές τράπεζες με τους προσκεκλημένους συγγραφείς και με προσωπικότητες του ελληνικού πολιτιστικού βίου.

Apple, BMW, Canon, Coke, Toyota, Ford and many other companies… all of them are today at the forefront of their industry. Their beginning, however, was more than… humble! For example, the first Coca Cola product was nothing like the well-known soft drink, as it was more like cough syrup, while Apple's first computer looked more like a typewriter. Toyota on the other hand the first product it released was… sewing machine. The gallery below is like a trip back in time and these were the first products they released 15 companies before they became the giants of today!

Το σατιρικό δράμα «Η Πλατεία» του Σουηδού Ruben Östlund ήταν ο μεγάλος νικητής τους 70ού Φεστιβάλ Κινηματογράφου των Καννών , με τον σκηνοθέτη να παραλαμβάνει τον Χρυσό Φοίνικα από τον πρόεδρο της κριτικής επιτροπής Pedro Almodovar και την Juliette Binoche. Earlier, ο Γιώργος Λάνθιμος και ο Ευθύμης Φιλίππου απέσπασαν το βραβείο καλύτερου σεναρίου , για την τελευταία τους ταινία «The Killing of a Sacred Deer» (Ο φόνος ενός ιερού ελαφιού).
