"Bel Ami" "Επικίνδυνο πάθος": A different Pattinson
Δύο σχετικά άπειροι σκηνοθέτες, Declan Donnellan και Nick Ormerod, ανέλαβαν την ταινία “Dangerous passion”. Αυτό όμως που ξεχωρίζει είναι ο κόντρα ρόλος που θα παίξει ο ταλαντούχος ηθοποιός, Robert Pattinson. Αν δεν σας λέει κάτι το όνομά του, τότε σίγουρα θα τον θυμηθείτε από τις ταινίες The Twilight κ.ο.κ., όπου υποδυόταν ένα σέξι βαμπίρ.
Ο Pattinson υποδύεται τον George Duroy, έναν νεαρό που ανεβαίνει κοινωνικά στρώματα ουσιαστικά αποπλανώντας κυρίες της υψηλής κοινωνίας. Το έργο είναι βασισμένο στο ομότιτλο βιβλίο του Guy De Maupassant και πρόκειται να βγει στις αίθουσες την Άνοιξη του 2012.
Το καστ συμπληρώνουν οι Christina Ricci, Uma Thurman καιKristin Scott Thomas.

Το Τσίρκο του Βιετνάμ για μικρούς και μεγάλους
Μια παράσταση για τις ημέρες των εορτών από ένα τσίρκο με παράδοση και ιδιαίτερη εθνική υπογραφή: το Νέο Τσίρκο του Βιετνάμ καλεί σε μια μαγευτική περιπλάνηση στην Άπω Ανατολή, at 23 and 25-29 December 2011 στην Κεντρική Σκηνή της Στέγης Γραμμάτων & Τεχνών.
Ένα διαφορετικό ποιητικό ταξίδι στη μακρινή χώρα της Ανατολής μάς προτείνει το Νέο Τσίρκο από το Ανόι. Η ομάδα αυτή των νέων καλλιτεχνών που προέρχεται από τους χώρους του τσίρκου, της μουσικής, του θεάτρου και της τέχνης του δρόμου θα μας ξαναθυμίσει εικόνες και αισθήσεις από την καθημερινότητα ενός ειρηνικού χωριού χαμένου στους ορυζώνες.
Με λιτά μέσα και πρωτότυπα σκηνικά κατασκευασμένα από μπαμπού, το Làng Tôi αντλεί έμπνευση από την πλούσια βιετναμέζικη παράδοση αλλά και από τις νέες τεχνικές του τσίρκου τέχνης, προσφέροντας σε μικρούς και μεγάλους μια μοναδική σκηνική εμπειρία που καταρρίπτει τους νόμους της βαρύτητας. Το κοινό όχι μόνο θα έρθει σε επαφή με ένα εντελώς διαφορετικό είδος περιπλάνησης και τσίρκου αλλά θα μπορέσει να ανακαλύψει την υψηλή ποιοτική έκφραση της σωματικής τεχνικής του ανατολικού θεάτρου.
Σημαντικό είναι ότι οι Βιετναμέζοι καλλιτέχνες που έζησαν και εργάστηκαν στη Γαλλία και τη Γερμανία επέστρεψαν στις καλλιτεχνικές τους ρίζες, ενισχύοντας την παράδοση με νέες τεχνικές και φόρμες, προσφέροντας ένα θέαμα που συνδυάζει με μαεστρία ακροβατικά, πολεμικές τέχνες, παραδοσιακή βιετναμέζικη μουσική, παντομίμα και χορό. Για μικρούς και μεγάλους ένα θέαμα που σπάνια έχουμε την ευκαιρία να χαρούμε στην καρδιά της Αθήνας.

"Αμάν Αμήν": Μια μουσική παράσταση του Σταύρου Ξαρχάκου
TheState Theater of Northern GreeceandΘέατρο Ακροπόλπαρουσιάζουν την παραγωγή “Amen Amen“, μια μουσική παράσταση βασισμένη στο ρεμπέτικο τραγούδι, σε σκηνοθεσία τουΣταύρου Ξαρχάκου.
Η πρεμιέρα θα δοθεί τηνFriday 30 Δεκεμβρίου 2011in theΒασιλικό ΘέατροinThessalonica.
Τα ρεμπέτικα τραγούδια του οράματος για μια καλύτερη ζωή, τα ρεμπέτικα της διάψευσης των ονείρων, τα ρεμπέτικα της αιώνιας νοσταλγίας της ομορφιάς, τα ρεμπέτικα της ιερότητας του πόθου, τα ρεμπέτικα της περιφρόνησης του τρόμου, τα ρεμπέτικα τραγούδια της πρόκλησης της μοίρας και της ατάραχης αντιμαχίας με το θάνατο.
The “αμάν” που βγαίνει μέσα από την ψυχή συναντά το “αμήν” μιας προσευχής. Στην ευθεία γραμμή που ενώνει το βυζαντινό μέλος με το ρεμπέτικο και με το μικρασιάτικο τραγούδι ταξιδεύουν ο έρωτας, the passion, ο πόθος, η νοσταλγία, η μοίρα, the death, τα όνειρα για μια καλύτερη ζωή, η στέρηση της ελευθερίας και η προσφυγιά. Έτσι αφουγκράστηκε τους ήχους αυτούς του παρελθόντος ο Σταύρος Ξαρχάκος και έστησε μια μουσική παράσταση με τίτλο “Amen Amen”. Ένα θέαμα-ακρόαμα με συνθέσεις παλιές και νεότερες, ένα λαϊκό πάλκο κατανυκτικό σαν λειτουργία.
Καθένα από τα δύο μέρη χωρίζεται σε τρεις ενότητες. Υπάρχουν τραγούδια του χάρου, του τεκέ και της Ανατολής.

"Traveling with the Southern Cross" in Megaro
A different kind of Christmas entertainment
An adventurous and charming musical fairy tale, inspired by the "Southern Cross" in the poetry of Nikos Kavadias, milestone project in the career of the composer Thanos Mikroutsikos, will star at the Christmas events of the Athens Concert Hall.
The reason for the musical performance "Traveling with the Southern Cross" which is staged for ten performances from 22 until 30 December (22,23,26,27,28,29 and 30/12 at 8.30 pm and 23,26 and 30/12 at 5 pm), in the Christos Lambrakis room that has been specially designed for the event, by set designer Giorgos Vafias, like a big ship.
It is a different Christmas multi-spectacle with the participation of great singers, musicians, actors and dancers that appeals to the imagination and maturity of children but also to the sensitivity of adults.
"The Cross of the South" in poetry by Nikos Kavadias is a work alive for its creator, Thanos Mikroutsikos, since from the time of the composition of the first songs (1977) until today, it is constantly changing and is the spearhead of his songwriting. The composer's now-legendary songs that brought the "great traveler of poetry" close to the young after urging them to "dance on the shark's fin", to push their limits and conquer the impossible, today they become the trigger for a performance full of music, fairy tales and scenic symbols that aspire to take the younger generation along on a journey into the world of fantasy.
The popular compositions of Thanos Mikroutsikos – with him, of course, also present in the role of performer – they travel together with the texts written by the author Maria Papagianni, inspired by the magical images that emerge from the texts of Kavadias and others, derived from well-known nautical tales, Greek and foreign.
The performance is directed by Thanos Mikroutsikos, while the choreography is by Cecile Mikroutsikou..
Storytellers participate – singers Christos Thibeos, Kostas Thomaidis, Rita Antonopoulou and Anna Linardou.
