Apostolos Handzaras presents works inspired by Byzantine painting
The days call for it, spring invites us to see "Twelve" with more optimistic colors, from the Annunciation to the Crucifixion, the Resurrection and the Ascension. Nothing but the Epitaphic Lament and the Deposition, it is not more optimistic. Apostolos Handzaras took his colors beyond the traditional schools of Byzantine painting, and exhibits his twelve works in the Skoufa Art Gallery (Cap 4, Kolonaki). This is the first phase of the "Sun", of the painter's journey to the East.
