The German is the winner in Shanghai

This was no resurrection, it was a revolution! His first victory in the Formula One championship 1, celebrated Nico Rosberg in the third round of the season, at the Shanghai circuit, taking the maiden win for Mercedes GP as well.

The German pilot, "put" the glasses on... favorites, opening an account in the winnings! Jenson Button climbed to the second step of the podium, while the top three was completed by Lewis Hamilton.

After 110 grand prix Nico Rosberg managed to taste the top champagne at the Chinese Grand Prix. The patience of the German, the previous two years he was rewarded with a competitive car, which gave him his first win and at the same time Mercedes' first win.

The 26-year-old pilot, started from poly position, a position he maintained throughout the race, without being stressed. Michael Schumacher was unlucky in the third round of the season...

The seven-time World Champion, he retired after a mechanical error in the first pit stop.

The German coming out of the pits, he experienced a problem with his rear left wheel which caused him to go off the track.

McLaren consistently good!

For yet another race, McLaren's performance was very good. Initially, Jenson Button had a very good start, as did the other Briton, Lewis Hamilton. In fact, both pilots of the team, they didn't give up, pushing for the best until the last lap.

Button's pace was impressive, who even when he had trouble at his last pit stop, the rear wheel got stuck, causing him to lose places, managed to climb to second place, overtaking Sebastian Vettel.

Numb the "red bulls"

The Red Bull duo took the checkered flag from fourth and fifth place, with Webber passing Vettel on the final lap. The "red bulls" for another grand prix, they were… numb, showing that they cannot compete with McLaren.

However, the World champion's effort was impressive, who from 14th place he fell at the start, managed to place fifth.

The good ones…

In a grand prix that initially the strategy and then the battles of the pilots made it impressive, the Williams drivers stood out. The team looks to have put last year's lackluster season behind them with Senna and Maldonado finishing seventh and eighth, respectively.

The good performances continue at Sauber, with Kobayashi this time representing the team in the top ten.

And the bad guys...

The Ferrari pilots did not manage to renounce their place among the bad guys in China either. Alonso saw the checkered flag from ninth place, while his counterpart, Felipe Massa, placed 13th.

The good performance he had at the beginning of the match, Kimi Raikkonen didn't keep it until the end. The Finn while "holding" second place (until the 50th round), within seconds, dropped to 14th place…

Lewis Hamilton may have started from the first position on the grid at the Australian Grand Prix, however he saw the checkered flag third, losing his place to Button and Vettel. In his statements after the match, the Brit emphasized that he was not having a good day, while he could not interpret why he lost his rhythm.

“I really don't know why I had that pace. It all started with my bad start. It was a tough fight, however I have to say congratulations to Jenson, who put up an amazing fight. It would be great if we did 1-2, but I wasn't having a good day", were the words of the British pilot, who completed.

"I will regroup, there are too many matches. Consistency is important in this league and that's why I intend to be consistent", added Hamilton.

Jenson Button started the season in the best way, who climbed to the first step of the podium, at the opening grand prix of the year on the streets of Melbourne's Albert Park. The British pilot emphasized that the good result results from the hard work done by the team's engineers, during the winter.

“Everyone who is here, they know that one win means a lot. We worked a lot during the winter and it showed in qualifying, but also with the victory today. The mechanics at our facility did a really good job for the first race of the season and that helped us push harder during the race.", said the British pilot, who then added.

"Towards the end of the match, when the temperature drops it's hard to keep the tires warm. So we were a bit on the limit, however I managed to manage the tires properly and save fuel as well, something that was very important to us.

The team told me to push as hard as I could, after the exit of the safety car, I did and I'm happy I was in control until the end of the race. It was an impressive day", completed.

This was Button's third win in Australia.
