The secretary of the LAE speaks of a marginal and questionable result, Panagiotis Lafazanis, on the Turkish referendum. As he emphasizes in his statement, a fragmented Turkey with an uncertain future emerges, as the emerging despotism of Erdogan. In this context, underlines the imperative need for Greece of a turnaround that will take the country out of memorandum guardianship and enable it to pursue an independent foreign policy, with a different treatment of Turkey, which will be based on parity and full respect for international law. "It is time for our country to abandon the phobia syndromes against Turkey and the feeling of being held hostage to its revisionist strategy, which are held by the Greek political and economic establishment and which are often embellished by it with harmful verbal lionizations and damaging convulsive actions" notes Panagiotis Lafazanis. In fact, in his statement, LAE secretary attacks established forces, which, as emphasized by Mr. Lafazanis, χρησιμοποιούν διαχρονικά και κατά κόρον την τουρκική απειλή για να εκβιάζουν τον ελληνικό λαό στην υποταγή και την δουλοπρέπεια.
