An incredible incident has been shaking the local community of Patras for two days now, where two toddlers and a baby were spotted walking in each other's arms, without anyone having searched for them until now! The children were found on Monday abandoned in the area opposite the 409 of Patras, to roam without the accompaniment of an adult. This image was found by the neighbors to remain unchanged even after a long time, with toddlers moving even to the edge of the street. The incident was reported to the authorities, as there was a serious risk to their safety. The children, and the three little girls, they were transferred to the Karamandanio Children's Hospital of Patras. Their origin has not been clarified, however, it is estimated that they come from a Roma or foreign family, as doctors and nurses talk to them - especially the older one who is approx 4 years old- but they don't respond, as if they don't understand the language. The prosecutor was immediately informed, while officials from the Child Psychiatric Center of Patras were also called on the spot. The positive thing is that the children do not have any signs of abuse on their bodies and are in good condition. The director of pediatrics at the Karamandan Children's Hospital, Giorgos Krokidas, spoke to the local media about the incident, said their condition is generally good, they wear overalls and are clean, neat, but frightened.Source:thebest.gr

Drivers who lose one to two hours of sleep, compared to the recommended seven hours of sleep, they face almost twice the risk of a car accident, according to a new American study. It is estimated that at least one third of people sleep less than seven hours, which makes many of them more prone to traffic accidents. The AAA Foundation for Transportation Safety report warns drivers that insufficient sleep can have fatal consequences for themselves or others. 'One cannot lose sleep and still expect to be able to function safely behind the wheel.. Our research shows that anyone who has slept less than five hours, faces the risk of a traffic accident like someone who is drunk’ said AAA Foundation director Dr. David Young. According to the study, which was based on the analysis of a representative sample 7.234 drivers involved in 4.570 traffic police, anyone who sleeps four to five hours, has more than four times the risk of a traffic accident, compared to anyone who sleeps seven hours.
