Για τη ΝΔ το ζήτημα των εκλογών αποκτά ακόμα περισσότερο επείγουσα σημασία με το σκεπτικό ότι όσο περισσότερο αργήσουν να έρθουν θα δένονται όλο και περισσότερο τα χέρια της επόμενης κυβέρνησης να ακολουθήσει ένα διαφορετικό μίγμα πολιτικής, ενώ θα πρέπει να θεωρείται αναπόφευκτη μια νέα δανειακή σύμβαση για να χρηματοδοτηθούν οι ανάγκες της χώρες μετά το 2018.
