Increase in low wages – employed on a part-time basis vs 12,61% and average pay… 392,53 euros gross, recorded by EFKA in the private sector between June ’15 and June ’16, in contrast to full-time insureds who only increased by 3,25%. According to the comparative data of the former IKA, in June ’16 the total number of insured persons reached 2.006.720 individuals, from 1.909.948 which was in the corresponding month of ’15. This improvement came from, however, mainly from the large increase in the insured with reduced hours that reached them 601.869 (333.465 women and 268.404 men), rate 29% in total, with average gross earnings 392,53 euro (387,12 euro for men and 396,88 euros for women) and average daily wage 23,57 euro. Respectively, the average monthly earnings for them 1.474.904 full-time employees were 1.162,34 euros gross (1.248,42 euro for 829.471 men and 1.051,73 euro for 645.433 women), reduced by 1,77% compared to June ’15.
