The interior of the new VW Golf "hides" a series of new technological elements and applications that aim to offer all comforts to the driver and passengers. Their most important features are the advanced design, the largest touch screens, and – for the top-of-the-range Discover Pro model – gesture control system applied for the first time in the Golf class.   At the same time, the range of online services and App Connect applications has been expanded. For example, the door of the house will be able to be opened remotely via DoorBird and MirrorLink™ allowing a package to be delivered by the delivery service if no one is at home. All instruments are displayed virtually via software on the 12.3-inch color screen. Navigational information can be displayed in 2-dimensional or 3-dimensional form. The analysis 1.440 x 540 pixel allows for an extremely accurate and advanced display of all details. There are five different detail profiles, in which the type of information and graphics displayed changes in some areas. The driver can choose from one of the following profiles: “Classic”, “Consumption & Range”, “Efficiency”, “Performance & Driver Assistance” or “Navigation”.
