The Cardinale, actress who visited Cannes for the first time on 1961 with two films in the official competition section (‘Girl With A Suitcase’, 'La Viaccia'), with Jean Paul Belmondo, returned it 1963 with Gatopardo’ of Visconti and '8 1/2’ by Fellini, while her other contributions include 'La Pelle', Fitzcarraldo’ of Herzog, ‘Henry IV’ of Bellocchio et al.
