FREE BREAST EXAMINATION BY THE GREEK SOCIETY OF MASTOLOGY
Free breast examination and free mammograms, offers from Monday 16 until Wednesday, March 18 (9 with 2) the Hellenic Society of Mammology (EEM) in collaboration with the Municipality of Athens in the context of housing at the 1st Municipal Clinic of the Municipality of Athens (Kalfopouleio) of the Center for Psychosocial Support of Women with Breast Cancer "Elli Lampeti".
"The offer is made on the occasion of the celebration of International Women's Day and will take place at the 1st Municipal Clinic "Kalfopouleio" (Solon 78) by volunteer doctors of the Hellenic Society of Mammology" states in a statement the President of the Greek Society of Mammology, Mrs. Lydia Ioannidou Mouzakas.
After the breast examinations, as many women as the EEM doctors decide should undergo a mammogram, will be referred to the Mammography department of the General State Hospital of Athens "G. birth", (Coordinating Director Mr. Vassilis Georgountzos).
Women who wish to be examined for free should make an appointment by phone - every day 10.00-18.00 in the Hellenic Society of Mammology, on the phones 210-74 70 257 & 210-77 73 112.
For an appointment at "Elli Lampeti" (Kalfopouleio Municipal Clinic, Solon 78) where free psychological support is provided to women with breast cancer and their family members, those who wish can contact from Monday to Friday (9.00 – 17.00) on the phone 210 – 77 73 112.
