The Holy icon of Our Lady of Volokolamsk is a copy of the icon of Our Lady of Vladimir and is kept in the Church of the Dormition of the Mother of God in the Kremlin. The icon was transferred from the Dormition Monastery of Zvenigorod by Saint Joseph of Volokolamsk († 9 September) at 2 March of the year 1572.
