It seems that Toyota has had a change of heart, as the Yaris GRMN unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show was supposed to come with an exclusive three-door body, apparently this is no longer the case since there will also be a 5-door version.

The decision made a lot of sense, since the main competitors, Ford Fiesta ST and Volkswagen Polo GTI are available in three- and five-door versions, while the Renault Clio RS is finally a five-door.
Another change we can notice is at the rear where the prototype has the exhaust on the right side, while the three-door hot Yaris comes with an exhaust system mounted in the center of the bumper. Maybe that's what happened, in order to differentiate the style of the two bodies.
However, under the wraps will be the same turbocharged petrol engine 1,8 liters that it will probably produce 210 horsepower to the front wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission. Toyota promises that the Yaris GRMN will be the fastest model in its class when it comes to 0-100 km/h.
