Renault proved that a station wagon is not necessarily a... boring design car, since after the new 3-door and 5-door Clio, the French temperament was carried over to the new Clio Estate as well.
The French brand has released new photos and technical data for the new Renault Clio Estate, preparing the ground for a global debut. The Estate version has the same wheelbase as the hatchback, however the extra rear space increased the car's length to 4.262 mm. Its luggage compartment has the 50% more "air" compared to the simple versions of Clio with the capacity touching the 1.380 liters with the rear seats folded.
Regarding the mechanical part, Renault will keep its range of engines from the regular versions of the Clio, which are the two petrol engines 90 and 120 horsepower turbocharged TCe 1,2 λτ., while the second can be combined with Renault's EDC double-clutch automatic transmission. also, there is also their diesel engine 90 horsepower dCi, who consumes barely 3,2 lt./100 km. and pollutants reach the 83 letter. CO2/km.
