THE BMW recently released photos and details of a prototype Series coupe 4.

Naturally, there will also be an M version from the Series, which as revealed will be released in a year and a half.

The first M4 in BMW history will of course be in coupe form, although it is expected to appear in other versions including an open and a four-door Gran Coupe.

The first M4 will be powered by a new six-cylinder engine with two or more turbos. According to BMW we should expect performance comparable to today's M3, but also improved torque and greater economy.
