They cannot sell parts of the car for spare parts

The hybrid Toyota Prius and known for the fuel economy it offers, its owner has to compromise in terms of appearance but also in the field of performance.

However, as it seems, the Japanese model offers an advantage over the competition. And this is to prevent it from being stolen by astute people, which is not based on sophisticated security systems.

Vehicles are stolen with the aim of using their parts as spare parts. And therein lies the advantage of the Prius.

As reported by Bloomberg, just one in 606 Prius models from ΄08 through ’10, they were stolen by the end of June, in the USA. On the contrary, the owners of a at 78 from other vehicles, they fell victim to theft!

"It's a unique one [pp. in the literal sense] car. Its parts won't fit anywhere but a Prius", explains John Abounader, director of the International Association of Auto Theft Investigators (International Association of Auto Theft Investigators).
