The world's oldest Ford is up for auction

This is a Model A that was built in 1903

The oldest surviving Ford car, is about to be auctioned by the well-known RM Auction.

It is a copy of the well-known Model A which was manufactured in 1903, by order of Herbert L. McNary, a butter producer from Iowa.

In 109 years of its existence, it has just changed hands 5 times. It is powered by a two-cylinder engine 1668 cc, which yields 8 horsepower. It has two speeds plus reverse. The maximum speed it can develop is 45 km/h.

The price it is expected to fetch at the auction to be held in Hershey, Pennsylvania, ranges from 300.000 until 500.000 dollars.
