Chevrolet Trax

Designed to stand in a fast-growing and competitive category, of small SUVs, The Trax is intended to be a "global car" as it will be available in more than 140 global markets. The dimensions of the car reach 4,24 meters in length and 1,77 in width, with wheelbase 2,55 meters. Although it is based on Buick Encore and Opel Mokka, 's appearance distances itself greatly from them. According to the manufacturer, emphasis has been placed on the interior, which is modern and practical. Plenty of places for small items are scattered on the dashboard, the doors and back. There is even a second "floor", under the trunk, which has capacity 358 l.

Thanks to the folding of the seats (including this co-driver) a flat loading area is created, which will serve the needs of those who have increased transport requirements. In total, the configurations of the seats are eight. The company, on the other, claims that the richer equipment versions will supply Trax with MyLink, an information and entertainment system with a navigation application that can be downloaded to compatible smartphones.

European market models will be supplied, at least in the first phase, with three mechanical sets. The first is one 1,6 atmospheric, gasoline, for which nothing has been announced yet. The second is supercharged, 1,4 liter, with power 140 horses, which will be combined with a six-speed manual transmission. End, there is also a diesel 1,7 liter, entry 129 horsepower and torque 300 Nm. Both of the last two sets will be offered, optionally, and in automatic editions, six relations, with movement in both, as well as on four wheels. Respectively, all engines will have a Start / Stop system to reduce consumption.
