Despite reports that Porsche had frozen plans to create a new small roadster, it seems that this is finally being reversed and the result will be impressive.
A few months ago Matthias Mueller, CEO of Porsche had himself put the "brake" on his company's plans to invest in a new small roadster that would be placed at the base of the brand's range. Now, the top executive of the German brand confirmed that ultimately this will not be the case, since the development of the car has already begun and is continuing at a rapid pace. Of course, it is still questionable when this "more affordable" open Porsche will finally be launched, Mr. Mueller to state that this can be done soon, or maybe to 3 years or even in 6, depending on when it is deemed commercially appropriate.
