New Harley-Davidson Softail Slim

A new version for the Softail was presented by Harley-Davidson. It's called Slim and it's essentially an aesthetically renewed Softail, stripped of everything unnecessary.
The small changes, to which the motorcycle was subjected, for the sake of the new version, they give it a look more retro and old school than custom. He has contributed to this, including, the removal of chrome parts and other small changes that will entice all those who wish for a return to the basics.
According to Harley-Davidson, if you take a Softail and strip it down to the bare essentials, then you have a Slim. Purpose of the company, according to the Head of the Planning Department, Casey Ketterhagen, was to return our attention to the most basic feature of the motorcycle: the engine. For this reason, the Softail Slim features a narrower rear tire and a shorter fender, to bring our attention back to where it should be. Additional, there is a gap between the saddle and the tank, so the rider can see the engine!
In a few words, Harley-Davidson and its designers took our attention from the (admittedly impressive in Softails so far) back to front, where the engine dominates. Several other Softail features are absent here, within the same logic, as a result we see a model with only the absolute essentials, in terms of aesthetics.
