Harley-Davidson is preparing economical motorcycles

Harley-Davidson may have seen an increase in sales, however, the American company is not complacent and seems willing to offer more affordable models.
The CEO of Harley-Davidson, Matt Levatich, told Reuters that the company is preparing to offer motorcycles more accessible in the economic and practical sector. As for the second, it doesn't mean we'll be seeing a daily commuter with the eagle in the tank anytime soon, but that easier and friendlier models may be made for a wider range of riders (like women, which he has approached again with campaigns in the past).
It seems, Well, that the increase in sales was positive, but Americans want a bigger piece of the global shopping pie, piece bigger than what the entry level can offer them (for company data) Sportster and one way to achieve this is models that will be cheaper and easier for a larger portion of the buying public.
Naturally, Matt Levatich did not elaborate after his statement, clarified, Nevertheless, that, for now at least, the company does not intend to start production in other countries. Right now, all Harley-Davidson models (except for those intended for the Brazilian and Indian markets, due to high tariffs) are made in the USA, but Levatich indicated that if the company ever starts building a motorcycle intended for developing markets (he means those of Asia and Latin America), will consider where to build it. For now, Nevertheless, production is not going to spread outside the US.
