Tiger Explorer comes to claim the top in the class, with high technology. This includes the ride by wire throttle, as well as the rear wheel traction control system. These two new electronic systems are applied for the first time by Triumph on a motorcycle. The Explorer is also equipped with ABS that can be disabled, but also cruise control.
As for the engine, this is of course a three-cylinder, with capacity 1.215 ml, strength 135 horsepower and torque 12,3 kgm. The frame is steel and tubular, while in the field of suspensions we find an inverted fork 46 mm., by route 190 mm. and single shock absorber with external oil reservoir, preload and damping settings and travel 194 mm. – both from Kayaba. The brakes, end, they bear Nissin's signature. In front are two floating disks 305 mm. with four-piston calipers and a rear disc 282 mm. with two-piston calipers with slide.
