In an interview with the magazine "OK!», Despina Vandi speaks openly for the first time about the misunderstanding that alienated her from Eleni Menegaki, after years of friendship.

"Life brought them so that one does not exist in the other's life. I have a good feeling about Eleni. I think she likes me too. We just never met again. At one point there was a misunderstanding about something I had said in a magazine - it was taken badly- but I didn't mean it the way he understood it" says Despina Vandi initially.

"I said something in public, which I was telling her for fun too. I explained it to her, he understood it. But sometimes you get lost with people. We have a lot in common with Eleni. I liked him coming home, he cut a tomato from the bach and ate it. So am I. We like the same things, the children, home, the good food. You never know. Maybe sometime, meet again" he adds, while in another part of the interview she says about the "goodbyes" she has been forced to say in her life: “I've cut people out of my life, but this does not mean that I have stopped loving them. I may have been disappointed, to have been hurt, but love doesn't go away even if we don't talk anymore".
