N. Orange: a trip 30 years

To go back in time and reach its February 1982. Remember a disc cover. Yes, then there were vinyls. The black man with the girl with the ferret. A new band and a new songwriter came to shake the waters and shook them. The reason for Fatme and Nikos Portokaloglou, which completes this year 30 years of presence on the Greek scene. Thirty years of creation, inspiration and success, Thirty years full of songs that have remained deeply engraved in our memory. Three decades of creation that will celebrate them with a big concert at the Technopolis of the Municipality of Athens, at 20 June.

Nikos Portokaloglou, wanting to celebrate his musical birthday, released an anniversary double cd. The first cd includes new material while the second covers of his older songs, sung by representatives of the young, basically, music scene like Panos Mouzourakis, Kostis Maravegias, Natassa Bofiliou, Leonidas Balafas, Giannis Charoulis etc..

Nikos sings songs that we have all loved and have accompanied us in important moments of our lives, recommends songs from this new album, shares songs with his guests and with an as always well-tuned band promises a strong summer night in the flood that surrounds us…. maybe out of stubbornness and madness… maybe because one day we will go further / further beyond’ the end / until the beginning… "Technopolis" of the Municipality of Athens.

Starting with this new release, Nikos Portokaloglou prepared a colorful music festival for the Technopolis concert. It is a celebration charged from the past but also with a view to the future, which they beautify and make even more special with their participation Eleftheria Arvanitaki, Natassa Bofiliou and Panos Mouzourakis.
