Performances based on his texts continue in theaters inside and outside of Athens

"I think especially in this day and age, with the economic but above all the moral crisis, the search for the lost Greek identity is what stimulates the viewer above all. Τη «Νοσταλγό» προτείνει η σκηνή της Eλεύθερης Εκφρασης, στη σκηνοθεσία του Δήμου Αβδελιώδη με τη Μαίρη Ιγγλέση, ενώ ο Αντώνης και ο Κωνσταντίνος Κούφαλης συνεχίζουν, until 28 February, με τους «Φτωχούς και Αγιους», μια σύνθεση από διηγήματά του που διασκεύασαν (στο θέατρο Βασιλάκου).
End, «Οι έµποροι των εθνών» που ανέβηκαν στη Στέγη Γραμμάτων και Τεχνών, μετακόμισαν στη Θεσσαλονίκη και τώρα παίζονται στο θέατρο Αυλαία. Την παράσταση της ομάδας OΠΕRA σκηνοθετεί ο Θοδωρής Αµπαζής «Αληθινός, είχε απαξιώσει το χρήμα και τις υλικές αξίας. Μαχητής για τα ελληνικά ήθη και την ελληνική ταυτότητα, με λόγο πολιτικό, εκφράζει και σήμερα την εποχή μας. Αλλωστε», θυμίζει ο Θανάσης Σαράντος, «είχε ζήσει τη χρεοκοπία επί Τρικούπη και τη σπατάλη στην προετοιμασία της Ολυμπιάδας». Ο tempora o mores…..
