From 4 January at Megaro
"The third wreath" by Stamatis Fasoulis and Thanasis Niarchou, based on the book by Kostas Tachtsis, presented by 4 January 2012 at the Thessaloniki Concert Hall.
"The Third Wreath", one of the most important modern Greek novels, it was issued 1962. Autobiographical work, with persons from the life and memories of the author, outlines in a way unprecedented for its time a piece of modern Greek history through the eyes of two women, of Nina and Hekabe.
Two women familiar, full of strength and weaknesses, they unfold in front of the viewers the thread of their lives: weddings, infidelities, divorces, deaths, financial failures, family dramas.
The personal, their little story is tied to the big story, with the history of modern Greece, the main events of the first half of the last century, sometimes decisive and sometimes as a background in an emotional landscape. Nina's third wreath, her last marriage to her husband and son of Hekabe, is where the story begins and ends. A circle that closes all the passion of the two heroines for life, the struggle for survival, the cruelty, the tenderness,
