The Greek Flag Code consists of some strict rules which must be followed to the letter as a sign of respect for the Flag. Honor to the Flag reflects honor to the Nation and honor to ourselves.
1. The Greek Flag represents our Nation, our Motherland and our state entity. In case of war the flag must be guarded and protected even with our lives. A typical example of this is the fact that when the Germans occupied Athens on 27 April 1941, the Standard Bearer on the Parthenon, the 17-year-old Kostas Koukkidis wearing the uniform of the Greek youth of the time, rather than handing it over to the Germans, submitted her, and after wrapping her around him, fell with her from the sacred rock of the Acropolis, in the void.
2. In case a flag is worn, then it burns, but it is NEVER thrown in the trash. Only ashes can be thrown in the garbage.
3. The Flag is used only in pride of place on the web. Any other use is prohibited. (B.C. hanging curtain, decorative, garment, etc)
4. During the raising of the Greek Flag we all stand at attention. The Ensign rises quickly. During the Raising of the Flag, the National Anthem is sung.
5. If there are several flags then the Greek flag must be at the same height, or higher than the rest.
6. At the flag submission we stand at attention. The Ensign slows down.
7. During the day of mourning the Flag is flown at half-mast and after the flag-bearer finishes flying, then it proceeds to subduction until the middle of the tissue.
8. It is FORBIDDEN for the Greek Flag to touch the ground for any reason. In case the flag is too big, the hoisting must be done by the flag bearer and with the help of the bystander. The same must be done when lowering the Flag.

THE INVISIBLE WAR OF CHRISTIAN -P. NIKOLAOU MESOGAIAS & LAVREOTIKIS

Published on Jun 24, 2017
Fight to the death for the truth
and may the Lord your God fight for you..

Lord don't forsake us… “Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy on us”.
The church is our mother and the bell is her voice…
And the bells can be heard with the mind or hearing..
but when you listen to them with your heart
either they mean joyfully and fill your soul with joy and gladness .. or mournfully remind you that another life awaits you…
it is the voice of the militant mother church calling her children into her arms..

Don't be indifferent…a fighting Soldier in the war of Love of Him who loved you dearly to be…
Tomorrow morning ,the bell will ring for you too ..You will hear it ;;;;;;;;

GOOD MONTH – RESTED SUMMER MY FRIENDS

Life is sweet - let 's enjoy it …..

Let us not let difficulties deprive us of it …

————————————————————————————

July was originally the fifth month of the Roman calendar (Quintilis -πεμπτος), but with the addition of the months of January and February (by Numas Pompilius) became the seventh.
It was named July at the suggestion of Markos Antonios (the 44 e.g.), accepted by the Roman Senate after the assassination of Julius Caesar.

In Ancient Athens, July corresponded to the second fortnight of the month of Skiroforion and the first fortnight of the month of Ekatombaion.. Skiroforion was the last month of the year and Ekatombaion was the first.

July has most of the village festivals.
In addition to prof’ this his own festivals-festivals (of Sts. Anargyron, of St.. Sunday, of the Prophet Elijah, of St.. Friday & of St.. Panteleimon), It also has many winter festivals, which have been moved to allow the summer to take place & of course the largest crowd.

It is very hot in July, the “Cynical burns” they say. Τ’ they owe their name to its constellation “Great Dog” which this time its brightest star, the Sirius, coincides n’ rises with the sun, resulting in the greatest heat of the year. The great heat, Nevertheless, of this month makes the fruits ripen.

Dedicated to flowers – The largest flower garden.!!!!

good summer
A heaven on earth! The Keukenhof garden (Garden Kitchen), also known as the Garden of Europe, located close to Smooth (southwest of Amsterdam), in the Netherlands and is considered the largest flower garden in the world.

According to the park's official website, about seven million flowers are planted annually in the garden, covering an area 32 hectares.

The idea for the flower garden appeared on 1949, by the mayor of the city. The goal was a large display of flowers, to promote the region and in a way that will benefit the whole of the Netherlands, since it is the largest exporter of flowers in the world.
Of course, the national plant of the Netherlands dominates the garden, the tulip. The best time of year to visit the garden is mid-April, always depending on the weather conditions.

June is its sixth month Grigorianou (New) Calendar, with duration 30 days.

At Attic calendar it was the twelfth month, were called Skirophorion and it lasted 29 days. Corresponds to the time interval from 24 May to 22 June.
He got his name from his wife For her Hera, which in Latin they were called Juno. She is considered the protector of the house and marriage, to whom this month is dedicated. According to another version, his name is due to Junius the White Brutus, the first Supreme who founded the Republic in Rome in the 5th century BC.
In June we have it summer solstice with the longest day of the year for the Northern Hemisphere, which practically means the start of summer.
The big religious festival of the month is Pentecost. According to the tradition of the Church on the fiftieth day after his Resurrection Jesus Christ the indwelling of the Holy Spirit on the Apostles took place. Theologically, this day is considered the birthday of the Church.
