Bad weather in Rhodes: The region and municipality are asking for the declaration of the island in a state of emergency.

The declaration of the island of Rhodes in a state of emergency after the bad weather is requested by Gen. Civil Protection Secretariat the regional governor of South Aegean and the mayor of Rhodes.
The request was made so that they could deal with the damage caused by the heavy rain that hit the island last night.
The requests were submitted last night and immediately after the Civil Protection Coordinating Body met (SOPP) of the Region, where the situation was recorded as it had been formed up to that time.

Generally clear weather and a slight rise in temperature

The weather will be generally clear today, while local clouds will develop in the midday and afternoon hours in the continental mainly mountainous areas. Winds in the east will blow northeast and in the west southeast 3 with 5 Beaufort. The temperature will rise slightly.
Creating playgrounds for use by children with mobility problems and ensuring their access to all municipal structures and schools, in Attica  the weather will be generally clear. Winds will blow from easterly directions 3 with 4 Beaufort. The temperature will range from 08 to 23 degrees Celsius. On the seaside the maximum will be 2 with 3 grades lower.
At Thessalonica  the weather will be generally clear, while temporary clouds will develop in the midday and afternoon hours in the mountains. Winds will blow southeast 3 with 4 Beaufort. The temperature will range from 07 to 22 degrees Celsius.
