Athens Photo Festival 2012: The program

To κεντρικό πρόγραμμα της επετειακής διοργάνωσης του Athens Photo Festival 2012, εγκαινιάζεται τηνFriday 19 October at 20:00 σε όλους τους χώρους της "Technopolis" του Δήμου Αθηναίων και θα διαρκέσει έως την Κυριακή 4 November 2012. Με νέες ιδέες και προσανατολισμό στη σύγχρονη διεθνή φωτογραφία προσφέρει την ευκαιρία στους φίλους του σύγχρονου πολιτισμού να παρακολουθήσουν το σημαντικότερο γεγονός για τη φωτογραφία στην Ελλάδα.

Ένα εκτεταμένο πρόγραμμα από 21 εκθέσεις με τη συμμετοχή καλλιτεχνών από 28 χώρες καθώς και ένα ευρύ φάσμα δράσεων –Διεθνές Φόρουμ Photo Voices, Φωτογραφικός Μαραθώνιος, προβολές, εκπαιδευτικές δραστηριότητες, πρόγραμμα Performance, ειδικές ξεναγήσεις- και παράλληλων εκδηλώσεων, συνθέτουν μια σύγχρονη πλατφόρμα αφιερωμένη στη φωτογραφία και τον οπτικό πολιτισμό.

Ο βασικός κορμός του εκθεσιακού προγράμματος υπό τον γενικό τίτλο “Art/Doc Intersection” ενισχύει τον αισθητικό και κοινωνικό διάλογο, διασταυρώνοντας επιλεγμένες καλλιτεχνικές πρακτικές που ακροβατούν ανάμεσα στην καλλιτεχνική φωτογραφία και τη φωτογραφία ντοκουμέντου και χαρακτηρίζονται για την ιδιαιτερότητα και τη ζωτικότητά τους.

Το πρόγραμμα της διοργάνωσης πλαισιώνεται από μια σειρά εκθέσεων και δράσεων που πραγματοποιούνται σε διάφορους εκθεσιακούς χώρους της πόλης.

Το Athens Photo Festival 2012, διοργανώνεται από το Ελληνικό Κέντρο Φωτογραφίας.

ActionAid: Organizes an experiential report on life in Africa

«Μπες στην θέση μου» στην «Τεχνόπολις» του Δήμου Αθηναίων

Μια βιωματική έκθεση διοργανώνει η ActionAid στην «Τεχνόπολις» του Δήμου Αθηναίων, at 9, 10 and 11 November.

Στην έκθεση «Μπες στη θέση μου», οι επισκέπτες θα έχουν την ευκαιρία να βιώσουν τις συνθήκες ζωής των ανθρώπων ενός φτωχού χωριού στο Κονγκελάι της Κένυας.

Πώς είναι μια αφρικανική κοινότητα; Πώς τρέφονται οι κάτοικοί της; Πόσο μεγάλη είναι μια καλύβα; Τι σημαίνει ψάχνω νερό;

Μέσα σε περίπου 20 λεπτά, οπτικοακουστικό υλικό, βιωματικές δράσεις και αντικείμενα από την Κένυα θα μεταφέρουν τους επισκέπτες στην πραγματικότητα των κατοίκων της Αφρικής.

Τις συνθήκες ζωής θα μεταφέρουν και οι εθελοντές της ActionAid που έζησαν για μια εβδομάδα στο Κονγκελάι της Κένυας μαζί με οικογένειες κτηνοτρόφων σε μια από τις πιο άνυδρες και απομακρυσμένες περιοχές της χώρας.

Θα είναι εκεί για να δίνουν πληροφορίες και να μεταφέρουν την εμπειρία τους.

Η έκθεση διοργανώνεται με αφορμή τα 40 χρόνια της ActionAid.

Alongside, παρουσιάζεται έκθεση φωτογραφιών με τίτλο: «Η Αφρική μέσα από τα μάτια των εθελοντών» που τράβηξαν εθελοντές της ActionAid από τα ταξίδια αλληλεγγύης.

also, θα προβληθούν πέντε ντοκιμαντέρ με θέμα την Αφρική.

Το Σάββατο 10 Νοεμβρίου στις 20.30, θα πραγματοποιηθεί γιορτή για τους Ανάδοχους Παιδιού της ActionAid. Εθελοντές και Ανάδοχοι θα μεταφέρουν τους επισκέπτες στην Αφρική. Η είσοδος στην γιορτή είναι ελεύθερη και η εκδήλωση είναι ανοιχτή σε όλους.

Γιάννης Κότσιρας και Εστουδιαντίνα, για μια συναυλία στην Τεχνόπολη

Η «Τεχνόπολις» του Δήμου Αθηναίων θα φιλοξενήσει το Γιάννη Κότσιρα, που μαζί με την Εστουδιαντίνα Νέας Ιωνίας Βόλου θα παρουσιάσου μια συναυλία με τίτλο «Η Σμύρνη του έρωτα», που ξυπνούν 90 χρόνια μνήμης με τα σμυρνέϊκα τραγούδια, at 6 September 2012.

Συμμετέχουν οι ερμηνευτές Θοδωρής Μέρμηγκας και Ειρήνη Τουμπάκη

Η Εστουδιαντίνα Νέας Ιωνίας Βόλου και ο Γιάννης Κότσιρας , με αφορμή τα 90 χρόνια μνήμης στη Σμύρνη και την πρόσφατη κυκλοφορία του άλμπουμ τους «Η ΣΜΥΡΝΗ ΤΟΥ ΕΡΩΤΑ», παρουσιάζουν την Πέμπτη 6 Σεπτεμβρίου στην «Τεχνόπολις» του Δήμου Αθηναίων στις 21:00 μία μεγάλη συναυλία αφιερωμένη στη λαϊκή παράδοση και την έντεχνη δημιουργία της Σμύρνης. Το ρεπερτόριο της παράστασης απαρτίζεται από τραγούδια που έχουν σημαδέψει τη δεκαετία του ’20, ενώ τα ίχνη τους φθάνουν έως και τον Β’ Παγκόσμιο Πόλεμο. Που να βρω γυναίκα να σου μοιάζει, Όμορφη Σμυρνιά,  Ο Αντώνης ο Βαρκάρης, Μισιρλού, Το Γελεκάκι, Η Μικροπαντρεμένη κ.α.  Στοιχεία τόσο διαφορετικά μεταξύ τους γίνονται ένα στη μουσική που ανθεί στα τέλη του 19ου αιώνα και στις αρχές του 20ου στην περιοχή της Κωνσταντινούπολης και της Σμύρνης. Τραγούδια που απετέλεσαν τον πρόδρομο της πειραιώτικης [ρεμπέτικης] σχολής, σπουδαίων συνθετών, όπως είναι οι Κώστας Σκαρβέλης, Δημήτρης Σέμσης, Panagiotis Toundas, Σπύρος Περιστέρης, Νίκος Ρουμπάνης, Γιάννης Δραγάτσης ή Ογδοντάκης, Γιάννης Νταλγκάς, Κώστας Κοφινιώτης, Απόστολος Χατζηχρήστος και αρκετά παραδοσιακά αγνώστων δημιουργών. Τα τραγούδια αυτά δεν γράφτηκαν μόνο στη Σμύρνη. Είναι τραγούδια που έχουν κάθε είδους σχέση με τη Σμύρνη. Είτε γράφτηκαν εκεί, είτε προέρχονται από Σμυρνιούς δημιουργούς στον ελλαδικό χώρο.

Η καταστροφή του 1922 άλλωστε, έμελε να αλλάξει κατά πολλούς τρόπους την πορεία της ελληνικής ιστορίας. Ανάμεσα στα άλλα, έμελε να φέρει από τα μικρασιάτικα ακρογιάλια τους μεγάλους δεξιοτέχνες της Σμύρνης για να διασταυρώσουν την τέχνη τους με τους έλληνες μουσικούς. Η μουσική που ερμηνεύουν οι Εστουδιαντίνες, οι ορχήστρες που απετέλεσαν το μεγαλύτερο «σπουδαστήριο» όπου δίδαξαν και μαθήτευσαν μεγάλοι Μικρασιάτες δημιουργοί, έφτασε στην Ελλάδα γύρω στα 1870, στην αρχή στις παρυφές της Αθήνας και πολύ σύντομα κατέκτησε και το κέντρο της πόλης των Αθηνών. Αυτό το είδος ορχήστρας έγινε η πρώτη και αυθεντικότερη μουσική γέφυρα, συνδυάζοντας αρμονικά τα ετερόκλητα εθνικά, μουσικά, πολιτιστικά και δημιουργικά στοιχεία δύο τόσο διαφορετικών κόσμων.

Η προτεινόμενη παράσταση αποτελεί μια σύγχρονη ερμηνευτική προσέγγιση, με έναν από τους σημαντικότερους Έλληνες ερμηνευτές, τον Γιάννη Κότσιρα και με την Εστουδιαντίνα Νέας Ιωνίας Βόλου υπό την καλλιτεχνική διεύθυνση του Ανδρέα Κατσιγιάννη, μία εξαιρετική ορχήστρα που συνεχίζει γνήσια και αισθαντικά την παράδοση των μεγάλων ορχηστρών που άνθησαν στη Μικρά Ασία. Με μεσογειακό ταμπεραμέντο, εξαιρετικές ερμηνείες και με την ιδιαίτερη ενορχηστρωτική ματιά της ορχήστρας, προβάλλεται ο βαθύς ερωτισμός που κρύβουν τα τραγούδια αυτά, με απόλυτο σεβασμό στην αυθεντική μουσική γραφή. Συμμετέχουν στην ερμηνεία ο Θοδωρής Μέρμηγκας και η Ειρήνη Τουμπάκη.
