Five hundred and twenty films will occupy this year's market, 15th Thessaloniki documentary festival- Images of the 21st century, which, worth noting, that according to the first data they will visit more than 55 foreign film industry professionals. Regarding the artistic part of the festival that will take place from Friday 15 March to Sunday 24, some of its strong cards will be the pan-Hellenic premiere of the Oscar-nominated documentary film "The Invisible War" ("The invisible war") by Kirby Dick, British Kim Longinotto's "Salma" and "Personal Universe" («Private Universe») of Czech Republic Helena Trestikova.
'Invisible War' has already caused shockwaves as it exposes the well-kept secret of rape of women in the US military, "Salma" tells the story of an Indian woman who broke free from the harsh fate of women in her country to be heard through poetry and politics.
End, in the,what is "personal universe" about, Trestikova with her penetrating gaze observes the life of a family during 37 years, exposing its hidden aspects but what shaped the modern face of the Czech Republic.
