The National Book Center (THERE)/Ministry of Culture & of Tourism are organizing for the first time in Greece the Festival of Young Writers and "throwing the spotlight" on the potential of the country's young writers to present their work, to discuss current events and dialogue with the other arts; an optimistic message of confidence for the future in the difficult times the country is experiencing.

Under the motto "We have a lot to say. Let's read, to discover, let's see…» the Festival takes place on 9 and 10 December 2011, at the Michalis Kakogiannis Foundation, in collaboration with the network of three similar European festivals (Mantua, Berlin and Wales).

Prose writers and poets, aged up to 35 years (born from 1976 and so on) and with a book title or two on their resume, recommended by reputable literary journals, to take part in the Festival through a "Reading Marathon" and present their work to new generations, and not only. Three of them, who will be selected by a special jury, they will receive a six-month scholarship (financial aid) for their next creative steps.

Alongside, at the premises of the Michalis Kakogiannis Foundation, in collaboration with the Foundation and Metropolitan Histories/Metropolis a "dialogue" with other forms of art will take place: cohesive links will emerge through a series of events such as roundtable discussions, theatrically, music and dance events, screenings of short films, visual exhibitions and happenings, laboratories, contests etc.

Mumble, the Clachet Star, is facing problems, because his son, Eric, she is afraid of dancing. Not wanting to dance, Eric sets off to meet Mighty Sven – a penguin who can fly! Mumble knows that nothing can compete with this unique gift.

Things will get even worse when the peace of their world is once again disturbed by powerful forces. Eric sees that his father is having trouble when Mumble joins for one more time

Manolis Lidakis together with Nadia Boule and seven solo musicians, will present only for two two days on 18-19 & 25-26 November a unique music program at Love Casual living in Thessaloniki.

How many Greek singers could really boast that they can perform anything; To perform the entire spectrum of Greek music without ever alienating our ears; Perhaps this was the reason that made Manolis Lidakis stand out from the first steps of his career.

His excellent voice, he was accompanied by such power and passion that he gave each of his performances an incredible authenticity. It is the voice that speaks directly to our hearts, or comes to life, in his songs, the woe of our folk song, whether the flame of a modern ballad or the levity of our traditional music.

With him is Nadia Boule, which in a short time, proved among others, that she is a remarkable and promising singer.
