Apple, BMW, Canon, Coke, Toyota, Ford and many other companies… all of them are today at the forefront of their industry. Their beginning, however, was more than… humble! For example, the first Coca Cola product was nothing like the well-known soft drink, as it was more like cough syrup, while Apple's first computer looked more like a typewriter. Toyota on the other hand the first product it released was… sewing machine. Cannes 2017: The big prizes

Sweden's Ruben Östlund's satirical drama The Square was the big winner at the 70th Cannes Film Festival , with the director receiving the Palme d'Or from jury president Pedro Almodovar and Juliette Binoche. Earlier, Giorgos Lanthimos and Efthymis Filippou won the award for best screenplay , for their latest film 'The Killing of a Sacred Deer' (The Killing of a Sacred Deer).

"To the Hammer" 155 works of the Iola collection

Works and objects from the Iola collection were auctioned on 25 May from Sotheby's London, with a higher selling price Victor Browner's Polarization panel vs 193.750 pounds (with starting price 150.000-200.000 pounds).

Second selling price painting was Andy Warhol's Alexander the Great vs 125.000 pounds (starting value 35.000-50.000 pounds). A "Signal" by Taki was the most expensive work by a Greek artist in the collection, which was sold 52.500 pounds (starting value 35.000-45.000 pounds).
