A public charging station for plug-in vehicles was opened by Honda in R&D its facilities in Offenbach, Germany. The station uses advanced 940V technology, which allows the simultaneous charging of up to four vehicles with different plug types.

The public charging station is powered by renewable energy sources, including a photovoltaic canopy. With a voltage of 940V it offers up to 150kW in four plugs. It will be powered by Honda R&D Europe and is technologically advanced to be used by future generations of electric vehicles. While the station can be used by today's plug-in car models, vans, bicycles or scooters, the maximum voltage has been chosen to meet the requirements of future vehicles that have not yet been created.

Changes are being considered, but in all probability they will be minimal compared to,what is true today. For the traffic taxes that they will be asked to pay this year for the 2018 the reason they are in the "design studio" for another year" of the Ministry of Finance in order to make them "fairer and more proportional".

The Deputy Minister of Finance Ms. Katerina Papanatsiou returned during the week to the issue of traffic fees after a question she received from a member of parliament and said that they are being considered for the 2018 changes in order for road taxes to be definitely calculated based on age criteria, cubic capacity and emitted pollutants while an attempt is made to calculate them based on the value of each vehicle.

Παράλληλα τo 2016 έφτασε αισίως τις 100.000 πωλήσεις αμιγώς ηλεκτρικών οχημάτων, με αυτό το ορόσημο να επιτυγχάνεται με ένα Renault ZOE που παραδόθηκε στη Νορβηγία.

Το πρώτο εξάμηνο του 2016 η Renault διέθεσε περισσότερα από 15.000 ηλεκτρικά οχήματα (επιπλέον του Twizy), αριθμός που συνεπάγεται με αύξηση της τάξης του 32% σε σχέση με την περασμένη χρονιά, ενώ συνολικά για όλη τη χρονιά διατήρησε την πρώτη θέση στην Ευρώπη τόσο σε συνολικές πωλήσεις ηλεκτρικών οχημάτων, όσο και σε επίπεδο μοντέλων με το ZOE. Αξιοσημείωτο είναι ότι ένα στα τέσσερα ηλεκτρικά οχήματα που κινούνται στην Ευρώπη είναι Renault ενώ στη Γαλλία η αναλογία είναι ακόμα πιο εντυπωσιακή με ένα στα δύο αυτοκίνητα.

«Πραγματοποιήσαμε επίδειξη ενός φορητού συστήματος επικοινωνίας που μπορεί να τοποθετηθεί σεdrone» είπε ο Καμές Ναμουντούρι, βοηθός καθηγητής στο Τμήμα Ηλεκτρολόγων Μηχανικών τουUNT.«Το σύστημα, με ισχύ μετάδοσης μόλις 250miliwatt,είναι ικανό να παρέχει άμεση κάλυψη δικτύου κινητής τηλεφωνίας σε ακτίνα δύο χιλιομέτρων στη διάρκεια επιχειρήσεων αντιμετώπισης καταστροφών. Εάν η κλίμακά του αυξηθεί στα 10watt,μπορεί να παρέχει κάλυψη κινητής τηλεφωνίας σε μια ολόκληρη πόλη σαν το Ντέντον(Τέξας)».

Ο γνωστός λάτρης αυτοκίνητων, Jay Leno, είναι ένας από τους λίγους τυχερούς που από εδώ και πέρα θα το έχει στο γκαράζ του. Ο πρώην οικοδεσπότης Tonight Show φημίζεται για την εκτεταμένη συλλογή αυτοκινήτων του, καθώς έχει από κλασικά μέχρι και εξωτικά αυτοκίνητα.

Η σειρά που έχει δημιουργήσει «Jay Leno’s Garage» έχει σήμερα πάνω από 1,8 εκατομμύρια συνδρομητές και πάνω από 300 εκατομμύρια προβολές. Το Ford 2015 ήταν αυτό που παρουσίασε σε προηγούμενο του επεισόδιο.

Ο Leno δημοσίευσε μια εικόνα στον προσωπικό του λογαριασμό στο Instagram μαζί με το νέο του απόκτημα και την ομάδα της Protective Film Solutions, η οποία παρείχε ένα προστατευτικό κάλυμμα για το supercar.
