«Η ελληνική κρίση είναι ευρωπαϊκή κρίση, είναι έλλειψη οράματος, είναι έλλειψη κοινού νου και έλλειψη δημοκρατικών θεσμών», stressed, κατά τη διάρκεια μιας συζήτησης για την εκτίναξη των ανισοτήτων από τη δεκαετία του ’80, ο οικονομολόγος Λουκά Σανσέλ. Έχει μόλις έρθει από τηFranceofΚίτρινων Γιλέκων στην Αθήνα και ατενίζει τον Παρθενώνα, στον απόηχο του συλλαλητηρίου κατά της ψήφισης της Συμφωνίας των Πρεσπών.
Η έρευνά σας στο WIL, στην πρώτη έκθεση των Παγκόσμιων Ανισοτήτων 2018, που δημοσιεύτηκε τον Δεκέμβρη του 2017, αποκαλύπτει ότι μεταξύ των χωρών με τις μεγαλύτερες ανικότητες απ’ τη δεκαετία του ’80 μέχρι σήμερα, είναι οι ΗΠΑ, την ώρα που οι ανισότητες υπήρξαν πιο ελεγχόμενες συνολικά στην Ε.Ε. Why;
Υπάρχει το επιχείρημα που αποδέχεται τις ανισότητες ως αποτέλεσμα των τεχνολογιών. Θέλεις smartophone και iphone; Υπάρχει ένα τίμημα που πρέπει να πληρωθεί. Ωστόσο και οι ΗΠΑ κια η Ευρώπη είναι εκτεθειμένες στις νέες τεχνολογίες και στο ελεύθερο εμπόριο. Therefore, αν αυτοί οι δυο παράγοντες ευθύνονταν για την ανισότητα θα έπρεπε να μετράμε τα ίδια ποσοστά της και στις ΗΠΑ και στις χώρες της Ε.Ε.
