Bad weather in Rhodes: The region and municipality are asking for the declaration of the island in a state of emergency.

The declaration of the island of Rhodes in a state of emergency after the bad weather is requested by Gen. Civil Protection Secretariat the regional governor of South Aegean and the mayor of Rhodes.
The request was made so that they could deal with the damage caused by the heavy rain that hit the island last night.
The requests were submitted last night and immediately after the Civil Protection Coordinating Body met (SOPP) of the Region, where the situation was recorded as it had been formed up to that time.
