In the competition section of the 67th Locarno Film Festival will
the new film by Sylla Tzoumerka has its world premiere “A blast” with
starring Angeliki Papoulia in the role of a rebel
mother and wife who wants to take her life back into her own hands.

Filmed in Athens, Hamburg and Pieria, the film is a co-production
of Greece, Germany and the Netherlands, with his support
Greek and Dutch Film Center. “In the feverish
years of the collapse of the Greek economy, the “A blast” talk about
what it means to be rejected and do something about it’ this", comments o
director signing his second feature film after
"Country of Origin" which premiered at the Venice Film Festival 2010,
participated in many festivals and won five Hellenic awards
Academy of Cinema.
