"The obscene" strictly for adult audiences

Two performances of telling folk tales - strictly for an adult audience- with a title: "The Obscene" – Halloween folk tales hosted by the Museum of Greek Folk Musical Instruments on Wednesday 15 and on Wednesday 22 February.

Stories from the depths of the human soul, for the time of year when "down comes up" and all can be said. A journey "into the night the unspeakable shapes" that the day is ashamed to tell.
Why is man called a beast by a group of animals?; What is the story of the girl who learned to punish the devil by putting him in hell; What causal answers are given by three separate friends we know well; What did Fakis do and why are they hunting him?; How one harmonizes where it cannot be said; These and other folk tales of the fantastic will be heard softly to speak loudly...

Narration: Dimitris B. Prousalis
Musical accompaniment: Efi Zaitidou (rule)

On Wednesdays 15/2 & 22/2 at 8.30 pm
