In an interview with "Real Life", the Star's Director of News and Information Stamatis Malelis spoke about the difficult situation on television today, for the shows he stood out for this year but also for the cut of "Made in Star".
For TV this year and next season:
“I can't make plans. I don't know what channels will be there, I don't know if we exist too. We went to talk about my contract with the station president and stopped talking... Without having any disagreements. We looked at each other and said, but we will be there next year; There will be Mega; There will be ANT1; Things are dire right now. (…) I think all the channels were lost this season, because there is a huge economic crisis. Honestly, I say it with my hand on my heart, δεν ξέρω πια πόσα κανάλια μπορούν να αντέξουν. Stamatis Malelis spoke to the newspaper "Proto Thema" about the changes he is initiating in the Star program, while he did not fail to comment on the progress of Tatiana Stefanidou's show and the return of Nikos Evagelatos to television.
Star's general manager of news and information clarified that the channel's schedule will change very soon: “I'm trying to find the model of a new TV, which will have reflection and searching at its heart" he said, emphasizing: “A lot of topics you used to see in STAR, you will never see them again. Goodbye! We begin to cut quite a few things from the bulletin, we make changes. For me it's a big gamble to do another TV and go high again".
Although he avoided answering directly, Stamatis Malelis left open the possibility of moving Eleonora Meletis to the noon zone, while for Tatiana Stefanidou he mentioned: "We will adjust it, that's why we changed the composition. He's going to turn it more into Oprah and into social issues.". But next year she will be the well-known presenter on the channel's team; "We haven't made any decisions, but judging by her performance so far, Yes, it will be" he answered himself.
End, for Nikos Evangeliatos and the show "SKAI at 8" that he has been presenting for a few days, Stamatis Malelis commented: “I didn't like the show, nor the choice of subjects, nor the way they make them.
