Holy and Great Lent where
opens before us, It is a spiritual journey with a destination
Easter, the feast of feasts. It is the preparation for the fulfillment of
Easter, of our personal Resurrection.

The liturgical traditions of the Church
us and its sequences, they exist to help us
regain the spiritual life that we so easily lose and betray.
Our Lord Jesus Christ expects from each person a
effort, an intense and difficult struggle against his soul-destroying passions,
which he is essentially powerless to do on his own. Here appears the
Great Lent.
