After they finally went ahead with the design change from the original EXP, its managing director Bentley revealed the "green" engines that the new one is likely to be equipped with SUV.
Recently, the chief executive of Bentley, Wolfgang Durheimer (who is now at Audi) revealed that the British brand is thinking about becoming more "friendly" to the environment, and the way this could be achieved was by equipping their future models with diesel and hybrid engines. It is assumed that for a start it will borrow the V8 diesel engine of the "sister" company – Audi- which yields 406 horsepower.
Durheimer in an interview also mentioned that they will do away with their V8 engine 6,75 liter (512 hp/1020 Nm torque) and will be replaced with a new V12. End, regarding the engines of the new SUV, it is expected that some of the new diesels or hybrids will be used, while the model will be based on a Volkswagen platform.
