SVT's new GT500 Convertible is equipped with the same engine as the Coupe version of the powerful model, their turbocharged V8 5,8 l. with his performance touching them 650 horses and the 813 Nm torque. The explosiveness of the GT500, however, is limited by SVT with electronic means, which prohibit the driver from exceeding the 250 km. / time.
As in the Coupe, so also in the "open" version, there are 2 different upgrade packages which are Performance and Track. The first package includes among others, electronically adjustable Bilstein suspensions, while the second has cooling systems for the engine, the differential and transmission, so they don't overheat inside the track.
