Mahindra's two-wheeled attack

Mahindra may be known for its commercial vehicles, but for the last two years he has also been dealing with two-wheelers. It recently introduced two new motorcycles.

The two new models that mark the Indian company's aggressive approach to the world of two-wheelers were unveiled at the Auto Expo 2012 of India. The first is a racing bike that will participate in the new Moto3 class of the World Championship and the second a concept intended for mass production.

The MGP30 is the evolution of last year's racing model 125 κ.εκ. who participated in the 125GP class and will participate in the new Moto3 class. It has, according to category specifications, single cylinder and four stroke engine 250 ml, tubular steel frame and aluminum scissor. also, comes with a racing kit that includes an Arrow final and Nissin brakes. It weighs barely 83 kg and the engine is the result of the company's collaboration with Engines Engineering, like that of their previous model 125 ml.
The concept of the company, on the other, it is called Mojo and it is a commuter motorcycle with an injection engine 300 κ.εκ. which yields 26 horsepower (again in collaboration with Engines Engineering). The Mojo will go into mass production in 2012, to complement Mahindra's two-wheeler range, in which scooters dominate. It is the company's most ambitious plan to date and, according to what he announces, it will be the first Indian motorcycle to "wear" tubeless tires (from Pirelli).
