Revolution!

The German is the winner in Shanghai

This was no resurrection, it was a revolution! His first victory in the Formula One championship 1, celebrated Nico Rosberg in the third round of the season, at the Shanghai circuit, taking the maiden win for Mercedes GP as well.

The German pilot, "put" the glasses on... favorites, opening an account in the winnings! Jenson Button climbed to the second step of the podium, while the top three was completed by Lewis Hamilton.

After 110 grand prix Nico Rosberg managed to taste the top champagne at the Chinese Grand Prix. The patience of the German, the previous two years he was rewarded with a competitive car, which gave him his first win and at the same time Mercedes' first win.

The 26-year-old pilot, started from poly position, a position he maintained throughout the race, without being stressed. Michael Schumacher was unlucky in the third round of the season...

The seven-time World Champion, he retired after a mechanical error in the first pit stop.

The German coming out of the pits, he experienced a problem with his rear left wheel which caused him to go off the track.

McLaren consistently good!

For yet another race, McLaren's performance was very good. Initially, Jenson Button had a very good start, as did the other Briton, Lewis Hamilton. In fact, both pilots of the team, they didn't give up, pushing for the best until the last lap.

The good ones…

In a grand prix that initially the strategy and then the battles of the pilots made it impressive, the Williams drivers stood out. The team looks to have put last year's lackluster season behind them with Senna and Maldonado finishing seventh and eighth, respectively.

The good performances continue at Sauber, with Kobayashi this time representing the team in the top ten.

And the bad guys...

The Ferrari pilots did not manage to renounce their place among the bad guys in China either. Alonso saw the checkered flag from ninth place, while his counterpart, Felipe Massa, placed 13th.

The good performance he had at the beginning of the match, Kimi Raikkonen didn't keep it until the end. The Finn while "holding" second place (until the 50th round), within seconds, dropped to 14th place…

They don't want to go to Bahrain

His concerns and fears for the fourth round of the Formula One championship 1 in the Bahrain (22/4) , expressed group president at “Guardian”.

The strong man, who however chose not to make his name public, he emphasized that it would be better FIA postpone or cancel the said grand prize, as he would not want to endanger team personnel traveling to Bahrain.

"I feel very uncomfortable at the thought of going to Bahrain. I am sure that it is the only solution so that nothing happens in the race, is to have military power, which is unacceptable for the league, but also for the country.

We all hope the FIA cancels the grand prix. If we take into account the advice of the government and the guarantees they give us, we have to go. However, we are worried, as it happens every day and from something. I was watching an activist interview on the BBC,where he said that there would be peaceful protests, however everything starts like this.

Other team presidents have the same concerns. I spent all of last week, trying to get guarantees from the insurance companies to ensure the team. I sent a message to the legal department to make sure all employees are covered in the event of a terrorist attack.

We have enough staff and they and their families are our priority. It seems that even if there is an improvement in the politics of the country, this is not enough. It would be best to either postpone it, or to cancel", said the group's president.

Alonso conquers the rain

Another episodic grand prix was held at her track Malaysia with the rain playing its own games. His first victory this season was celebrated by Fernando Alonso, taking advantage of McLaren's misfortune. The impressive Sergio Peres climbed to the second step of the podium, while the top three was completed by Lewis Hamilton.

Drivers managed just nine laps at Sepang in heavy rain, which forced the referees to stop the match, for about an hour, until its intensity decreases and track conditions improve.

However, the stoppage combined with the safety car really shuffled the deck and… ruined McLaren's race.

Hamilton's first pit stop stuck wheel and Button's contact with Karthikeyan, gave first place to Alonso, which he maintained until the checkered flag.

McLaren's misfortune, good luck to alonso!

Just nine rounds lasted the fairy tale for the British team. Hamilton started very well and maintained his lead. However, the entry of the safety car and the stoppage of the race, they put... an early end to McLaren's race. The winner of the first grand prix, Jenson Button, finished in 14th place, since after his contact with Karthikeyan he failed to make the top ten.

Alonso, who got off to a good start was in the right place at the right time, resulting in him being in first place and taking the win, after the British Grand Prix. However, Sergio Peres also took advantage of the right timing, who in Malaysia impressed, seeing the checkered flag second.

This Mexican is crazy!

The performance of Sergio Peres was excellent, who in Malaysia, not only did he manage to maintain second place, but he had the guts to claim victory as well, filling Fernando Alonso's mirrors.

However, three laps before the checkered flag the team informed Peres that they wanted the second place points, advising him to slow down. At the Malaysian circuit, the Sauber driver was placed in the best position, that has ever been marketed.

In fact, he is the first Mexican to take the podium since 41 years and Pedro Rodríguez, who had finished second the 1971 at the Dutch Grand Prix.

Mark Webber saw the checkered flag from fourth place, with his stablemate, Sebastian Vettel to finish 11th. The World Champion had contact with Karthikeyan's HRT with seven laps to go, με αποτέλεσμα να καταστραφεί το πίσω ελαστικό του και να επισκεφθεί τα πιτ.

Jenson Button started the season in the best way, who climbed to the first step of the podium, at the opening grand prix of the year on the streets of Melbourne's Albert Park. The British pilot emphasized that the good result results from the hard work done by the team's engineers, during the winter.

“Everyone who is here, they know that one win means a lot. We worked a lot during the winter and it showed in qualifying, but also with the victory today. The mechanics at our facility did a really good job for the first race of the season and that helped us push harder during the race.", said the British pilot, who then added.

"Towards the end of the match, when the temperature drops it's hard to keep the tires warm. So we were a bit on the limit, however I managed to manage the tires properly and save fuel as well, something that was very important to us.

The team told me to push as hard as I could, after the exit of the safety car, I did and I'm happy I was in control until the end of the race. It was an impressive day", completed.
