A cell phone antenna that can be mounted on a drone has been developed by researchers at the University of North Texas,for use in areas affected by natural disasters- which tend to wear down telecommunication infrastructures.

"We have demonstrated a portable communication system that can be mounted on a drone," said Kamesh Namounduri, assistant professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at UNT. "The system, with a transmission power of only 250 milliwatts,is capable of providing instant mobile network coverage within a radius of two kilometers during disaster response operations. If its scale is increased to 10watt,can provide cell phone coverage to an entire city like Denton(Texas)».

The famous car enthusiast, Jay Leno, he is one of the lucky few who will have it in his garage from now on. The former Tonight Show host is famous for his extensive car collection, as it has from classic to exotic cars.

The series created by "Jay Leno's Garage" is currently over 1,8 million subscribers and over 300 millions of views. The Ford 2015 was what he presented in his previous episode.

Leno posted a picture on his personal Instagram account with his new acquisition and the team at Protective Film Solutions, which provided a protective cover for the supercar.

Independent designer envisions and shows us what could be the future Jeep off-road vehicle that will be released in 2035.

It is difficult to predict how the scene will be in the field of motoring in 20 years from today. However, independent designer Nak Joong is attempting a first approximation of what the Jeep off-road vehicle we could see on the roads will look like. 2035.

As you can see in the related photos, our digital drawings show an impressive body with big wheels, increased ground clearance & many glass surfaces. also, at the front, the vehicle retains the characteristic new mask of the company, while the LED lights also attract positive comments.

Although we don't know what will be the fate of this particular indie designer's digital designs, surely the end result should be taken seriously by Jeep.
