The first one Porsche Boxster produced by the VW plant in Osnabruck, it is now a fact. This is a red Boxster S, with a black fabric roof and is the beginning of a new page for the factory of the German giant.

Mass production of Porsche models will continue from its main factory, in Zuffenhausen, Stuttgart, however a small number of cars will be built in Osnabruck. The red Boxster S, intended for a Porsche customer from Bavaria, it is the beginning and the Germans duly celebrated it, at a special event, where the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Volkswagen was present, Martin Winterkorn, its Porsche counterpart, Matias Muller.

“The key point for this decision was the specialization of the workforce at the Volkswagen plant. We understand the quality ourselves and our sport models are in good hands", was the positioning of the chairman of Porsche, Matias Muller.
