We all know him as Antonis Kanakis.

However, this is not the real name of the presenter of Radio Arvyla.

His name is Antonis Doumas and, as we learned, choose it “Kanakis” when he was into pirate radio.

It was common at the time for radio pirates to go on the air under fake names. Later, when he got on TV, he kept it since everyone knew him as Kanaki.

It is perhaps the only case where the real surname, Dumas, it sounds more artistic than fake, Kanakis.
