Bonneville Essentia:Motorcycle of high aesthetics

Τούτη η Bonneville Essentia είναι ένα πανέμορφο κομμάτι, πρόταση της Officine GP Design, ενός γκαράζ βελτιώσεων που μάς συγκίνησε πρόσφατα παρουσιάζοντας την Pathos (δεν χρειάζεται μετάφραση), βασισμένο στη MV Brutale 1090R του 2012.

Η GP Design είναι μια πραγματική μπουτίκ για τους εραστές των δύο τροχών. Γεννήθηκε όταν τα αδέρφια Luca και Fabio Pozzato αποφάσισαν να μπολιάσουν την οικογενειακή επιχείριση (εμπορία μοτοσυκλετών) με το πάθος τους για ιδιοκατασκευές.

Η Essentia που βλέπετε αποτελεί μέρος του προγράμματος «ONLY FOR YOU», και σχεδιάστηκε για μια γυναίκα πελάτη, τη Στεφανία, η οποία έχει αδυναμία στα «μοναδικά αντικείμενα», καμωμένα από φυσικά υλικά όπως το ατσάλι, ξύλο, τα ελαφρά κράματα, το σίδηρο, τον μπρούντζο, το αλουμίνιο και το δέρμα. Εκτιμά και την τεχνολογία, αλλά μόνον όταν υπηρετεί την αισθητική.

Οι εντολές της Στεφανίας ήταν για μια μοτοσυκλέτα με διαχρονική αισθητική, με πολλά τεχνολογικά καλούδια αλλά και άνετη θέση οδήγησης, σχεδιασμένη στα μέτρα της από τους «ράφτες» της Officine GP Desing.

Τους πήρε 6 μήνες αλλά το αποτέλεσμα αξίζει. Να μερικές από τις μετατροπές που μεταμόρφωσαν μιαν απλή Bonneville στην Essentia:

Ζάντες της Kineo, πλευστοί δίσκοι μπροστά με ακτινινές δαγκάνες Brembo, πιρούνι springer της Harley Davidson, πολλά αξεσουάρ από την Rizoma (καπάκια, βίδες, μαρσπιέ και γκριπ), αλυσίδα της RK, άνετη χειροποίητη σέλα από μαλακό καφέ δέρμα σουέτ, τάπα βενζίνης από Monza, πίσω φωτιστικό «εποχής», πίσω φτερό χειροποίητο από λεπτό μεταλλικό φύλο με επικάλυψη ξύλου τριανταφυλλιάς, και πολλαπλές στρώσεις γυαλιστερού χρώματος.

Το λογότυπο «OFFICINE GP DESIGN» στο πλάι είναι σκαλισμένο σε μασίφ μπρούντζο, με επεξεργασία παλαίωσης. Όταν τα αθάνατα αυτά υλικά δουλεύονται από μαστόρικα χέρια, το αποτέλεσμα μπορεί ανεπιφύλακτα να ονομαστεί «κλασικό».

Honda Gear Concept: Small 3-door hatchback presented at the Montreal show

Τα στοιχεία που αποκαλύπτουν οι Ιάπωνες είναι ελάχιστα, αλλά τα μικρά έξτρα πλευρικά παράθυρα μπροστά από τους καθρέπτες που θυμίζουν Jazz, δημιουργούν την εντύπωση πως ίσως το Gear Concept δίνει μια πρώτη γεύση από το επόμενο supermini της Honda, ή ακόμη και να αποτελεί (for the first time) την τρίθυρη έκδοσή του.

Besides, στο σχετικό δελτίο Τύπου δεν γίνεται κανένας λόγος για παραγωγή ή μη, αφήνοντας ανοιχτό κάθε ενδεχόμενο.

Το μόνο που αναφέρεται είναι πως το Gear Concept μας δίνει μια ιδέα από τη σχεδιαστική προσέγγιση των επόμενων μικρών Honda, απευθυνόμενη κυρίως σε νεαρούς οδηγούς με σύγχρονο lifestyle.

Ας ελπίσουμε πως αν τελικά το Gear φτάσει στους δρόμους να διατηρήσει την εντυπωσιακή εμφάνιση του πρωτοτύπου.

The Swedish look at the Athens of the crisis

How four Swedes see the Athens of the crisis; The exhibition "KRIS, an artistic test on the concept of crisis" presented by the Swedish Institute of Athens highlights the value of the city as a place of artistic inspiration but also the importance of cooperation between Greece and Sweden. Curated by Antonis Bogadakis - who has participated in organizing exhibitions in Sweden and Turkey, while working in Northern Sweden- the Swedish artists Cecilia Järdemar; (in collaboration with Loukia Alavanou), Jesper Nordahl, Carl Palm and Lisa Torell were invited to come into contact with the Greek reality and express their comments through art.
 The only Greek woman participating in the exhibition, Loukia Alavanou, which won the TIE IT award 2007 and lives between Athens and London, he tells vima.gr : "Athens has a great artistic interest at this time. The political situation of the country and the images one sees in the city are reminiscent of Berlin immediately after the fall of the wall. The moment is important to carry out such initiatives as the invitation of foreign artists and the exchange of artistic ideas and opinions.  According to the people at the Swedish Institute of Athens, the invitation to four Swedish artists to capture through art the comments and impressions from their contact with the Greek reality in this difficult period becomes at the same time an occasion to explore the perspective of the trenches as they have been defined by the dividing lines that have been set and widely disseminated primarily by the mass media between the north and the south of Europe. The exhibition aspires to contribute to a debate that has been open for a long time not only about the reasons for the outbreak of the crisis but also about the role that the concept of the political plays in dealing with it.
 The report is complemented by two separate discussions, one with the participating artists on Saturday 2 February 2013 (time 18:00) and the other with Aris Fioretos as guests, author and professor of Theory of Aesthetics and Literature at the University College of Sentertern in Stockholm and Alexandra Deligiorgis, writer and professor of Philosophy at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki on Saturday 9 February 2013 (time 18:00).

Alexis Georgoulis: Η μεγάλη επιστροφή μετά από πέντε χρόνια

Ο Αλέξης Γεωργούλης έχει εγκαταλείψει την Ελλάδα καθώς εδώ και λίγα χρόνια μένει και εργάζεται μόνιμα στο Λος Άντζελες.

However, μετά το καλοκαίρι ο 37χρονος ηθοποιός έμεινε για λίγο στην Κύπρο πρωταγωνιστώντας στην παράσταση «Δεσποινίς Τζούλι» που ανέβηκε για περιορισμένο αριθμό παραστάσεων, ενώ έπειτα επέστρεψε στην Ελλάδα συμμετέχοντας σε μια θεατρική παράσταση που παρουσιάστηκε στο Regency Casino της Θεσσαλονίκης.

Now, και μετά από περίπου 5 χρόνια απουσίας από τα αθηναϊκά θέατρα, επέστρεψε δυναμικά πρωταγωνιστώντας στην θεατρική παράσταση “Άγαμοι Θύται.. στο Γουδή” που παρουσιάζεται στο Θέατρο Badminton από τις 23 January to 3 February.

The “Άγαμοι Θύται” έχουν διαγράψει μια πορεία πολλών ετών στα καλλιτεχνικά δρώμενα, με μουσικοθεατρικές παραστάσεις, που έχουν ως αιχμή τους το στοιχείο της σάτιρας. Αυτή τη φορά το θέμα τους είναι η οικονομική κρίση και η Τρόικα σε ένα “βαλκανικό, οπτικο-ακουστικό υπερθέαμα, εφάμιλλο των ευρωπαϊκών, ίσως δε και των αμερικανικών του Μπρόντγουεϊ”.

Στην παράσταση πρωταγωνιστούν: Ιεροκλής Μιχαηλίδης, Evelina Papoulia, Dimitris Starovas, Alexis Georgoulis, Χρήστος Μητρέντζης

Την πρεμιέρα της παράστασης παρακολούθησαν μεταξύ άλλων η Μαρία Σολωμού και ο Πάνος Μουζουράκης.

"We will remember you, Pavle Matesi, as an intellectual of the high art of speech"

The writer's funeral took place from the Papagou Cemetery

Under the cypress trees of the Papagou Cemetery rests the body of Pavlos Matesi.
The funeral service was sung on Tuesday at noon in the church of Evangelistria of Papagos in the presence of his relatives and numerous writers and theater people.
Dimitris Posantzis said goodbye to the deceased on behalf of Kastaniotis publications: "We are your debtors, those of us who were lucky enough to know you well. We will always remember you as an intellectual dedicated to the high art of speech and the value of literature, as a teacher who taught dignity and deep humanity."
His body was followed by Spyros Evangeliatos, Kostas Murselas, Giorgos Dialegmenos, Thanasis Kastaniotis, Eva Karaitidis, Thanasis Niarchos, Zyranna Zateli, Eugenia and Michalis Fakinos, Lakis Papadopoulos, Grigoris Psarianos, Mimis Androulakis, Telemachus Chytiris, Nikos Sifunakis et al

The 2016 η Mercedes GLC

Σύμφωνα με δημοσιεύματα του διεθνή ειδικού Τύπου, η Mercedes-Benz ετοιμάζει μία coupe εκδοχή της GLK, που πιθανότατα θα ονομάζεται GLC και θα λανσαριστεί το 2016.

Η τρίθυρη GLC θα βασίζεται στην δεύτερης γενιάς GLK και θα λανσαριστεί στην παγκόσμια αγορά, inside 2016.

Οι πρώτες πληροφορίες αναφέρουν ότι θα πρόκειται για ένα υπερυψωμένο τρίθυρο coupe, που δεν θα υιοθετεί το τετραγωνισμένο σχήμα της πρώτης GLK, αλλά θα διακρίνεται για τις πιο φινετσάτες και καμπυλωτές γραμμές, που επιβάλλεται να έχει ένα αυτοκίνητο της κατηγορίας.

Η GLC, εάν τελικά κατοχυρωθεί το όνομα, θα είναι ένα από τα πρώτα μοντέλα της φίρμα, που θα πατήσουν πάνω στη νέα πισωκίνητη πλατφόρμα, με την κωδική ονομασία MRA.

Θα εφοδιάζεται με κινητήρες 2.0 and 2.2 liter, βενζίνης και πετρελαίου, ενώ προβλέπεται και έκδοση AMG, με twin-turbo 4λιτρο V8 κινητήρα, return 462 horses.

Προαιρετικά θα διατίθεται και με το νέο σύστημα τετρακίνησης 4MATIC (στάνταρ στις κορυφαίες εκδόσεις) και οι τιμές αναμένεται να ξεκινούν από τα 34.426 euro.

Katerina Kainourgiou: "I have so many insecurities it's almost ungrateful"

Katerina Kainourgiou was photographed for the magazine “OK!” and talked about the mistakes she herself made regarding her personal life, but also her relationship with Giorgos Samaras after their separation.

The young presenter admitted about the mistakes she made in her personal life: "It's my fault. I am very exaggerated and take things to their limits. I take full responsibility for my breakups. When something beautiful breaks, it's always my fault".

Katerina Kainourgiou, in fact, she confessed that her personal insecurity is the reason that her relationships have an unfortunate end many times: "I have so many insecurities that I am bordering on ingratitude (…) With my insecurity I have ruined beautiful relationships, beautiful moments. I act nervous, stressful, I'm making the wrong moves. And of course I'm jealous. Not other women – I've never been jealous of another woman- but my partner. But I don't think that's the only reason I'm alone. It is also a matter of luck to find the ideal person. Some never find him".

End, when asked about her recent meeting with Giorgos Samaras at the Athens Arena, who first revealed the Yupiii, Katerina Kainourgiou said: "I'm generally tired of reading scripts about this relationship. From there on I am of the opinion that there is no smoke without fire. I did meet him, but I am not a man who would not greet one whom I value and with whom I have lived five moments.", while regarding whether any of her relationships have stigmatized her, he did not hesitate to admit: "There was a man who made me change my theory.
